OUR LATE IN LIFE EXPERIENCE
Richard and Lydia have been married for 40 years, have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
One Covid discovery we made was that we had a passion for costuming. Since 2022 we've competed in 7 costume contests winning 6 of them. We compete during Halloween at an all inclusive resort in Mexico and also on charter cruise ship. The avatar picture shown here was our 2025 entry into the Sci Fi category on a cruise. It took 3.5 hours to paint each other. Costuming is all in the details, this entire costume was hand made (except the wigs and contacts).
Richard also met a fellow cruiser in 2023 who talked to him about intermittent fasting. The result was enough inspiration that in 2 years I've gone from 325 pounds to 195 pounds, which should be obvious if you peruse some of our other costume pictures below.

Most of my personal travel experience is in the area of mid tier luxury (4&5 star hotels), and cruise balconies or suites. We've visited over 30 countries. Cruised Mexico, the entire Caribbean, Alaska, and numerous European itineraries. We've sailed a catamaran in the British Virgin Islands and cruised on a 5 mast sailboat in Greece.
